Play Date with my cousins!

Me and my sister-in-law try to get together at least once a week for a play date. Annabelle is so fun with these dates. She is not use to having so many kids around her.

Here is Emme with Annabelle.

It is so funny how there are so many toys on the floor but the girls want the same one.

Here the go again.

Pictures say 1000 words.

Yes we are alive!!!

I know I have not been writing for awhile, but between the new house and Annabelle. I barely have time for anything. We are adjusting well in Portland. It is different from Miami, Newport, Dallas, but it home now and there is a reason that we are here. I don't know what it is yet beside the fact that Stephen is near family but we have a reason. Our Ward is so wierd. It's really hard the change coming from 2 good wards, but my motto now is that there is a reason and that keeps me going every Sunday. The house is 90% unpacked. We are doing lots of changes. I will take some pictures this week and posted them soon for you to see. For now I give you an update on Annabelle.

Annabelle is now going on to 9 months in a week. On Wednesday night I started to cry. I was in tears and Stephen came down stairs to see what was wrong. He was so concern because I couldn't even talk as I was crying. Once he saw the pictures he understood. At that moment I realized how bless we are. We have a health child. What more could I ask for. For those who know my story. Annabelle basically is a miracle child. I won't not trade her for nothing in the world. I love every little thing about her. She is the joy of our lives. Here are some pictures of Annabelle that I took within the past 3 weeks that my mom was in town visiting us. Please bare with me I am going to post alot of pics.

2 days old 7.4 lbs 19 3/4 in

8 1/2 months- 20 lbs 27 in.

The saying Daddy's little girl is sooo true. Annabelle has managed to have Stephen wrap around her finger. What every I want for her she gets. It's scary. I went to get a pedicure this week and I took her with me. Stephen called me doing the pedicure and he told me if Annabelle could get one now too. Her feet need to be taking care of too. Can you believe this? She is only 9 months I can't imagine when she is 5. It gone to his head. Especially since her first word was Papa.

Here are some Daddy moments.

Dancing with Daddy before Bedtime

Playing with Daddy outside by the house

I have to to understand that our house is not our house any more. I forgot what it was to have a baby in the house. Our living turned into her playground. She is now crawling. Not the regular crawl but the solider crawl. It is so funny how she drags herself. I have to bring everything up off the 2 bottom shelfs of our bookshelf. Our fireplace is now cover by the ottaman. The outlets are covered and the gates are up. I am living in fort knoxs. The last things we need to do is mount the bookshelfs onto the wall and locked the cabinet doors. I ask the Lord every night to give me energy. We discover that she has Stephen's energy. Here is some pictures of her playground.

If you are wondering about the towels, well Annabelle is still spitting up. She has reflux. She will outgrow it by the time she is 1 yr old. Which thank heaven it not that far away. She also went to the Othropedics and her hips are prefect. We won't have to go back. Yeah !

It's bath time.

Stephen has a daily commute of 45 mins to hour each way every day. He was a nightly routine with Annabelle were he feeds her and bath her everynight so that he could spend some quality time with her. I could always here them laughing at that time. Last night Stephen told me why don't I take over for tonight and see how fun it is. Let me tell you I had a blast with her. My little girl is a fish. She loves the water.

She could play in the water for hours if we let her. Here she is playing with Ms. Ducky and Ms. Butterfly.

Look I could sit now!

So Annabelle is now 5 1/2 months now and still does not roll over. I go ahead and try to assist her on it and she rolls right back on her back and plays with her toes. She decided that instead of rolling over she is going to sit first. She goes ahead and trys to get up when she is laying on her back. I know my child is weird if not then just plain lazy. (lol) Stephen theory is that she is going to learn how to walk before she crawls.

Here she is with Gammy playing on the floor.

Our First Family Outing in Portland

I love old houses. I love to see how people lived in different eras. After being in Portland for a month we decide to go out on our first outing. We went to the Pittock Mansion. This Mansion was built in the early 1900 by Oregon Trail pioneer Henry Pittock. He was the owner of The Oregonian.

It is amazing to me how beautiful this house still looks after 95 years.

Annabelle did not wake up very happy after her nap. It was cold up on the mountain that we had to cover her with the blanket.

This is a beautiful mansion overlooks the City of Portland, the Columbia River, Washington State, Mount St. Helen and Mt. Rainer.

As soon as we got in the Mansion, Stephen decided to turn Annabelle around. She was alert through out the house. All in all we have a great afternoon.

Annabelle loves Disney Movies

Annabelle lately has been needing more attention. She does not take all of her naps like she did before. My mother-in-law has Baby Einstein videos here and I tried one for her. She loves it. She can't take her eye off the TV.

This morning Stephen needed help with breakfast and Annabelle did not want to play with anything. I decided to put on Little Mermaid II. She was having to much fun. She is a huge fan of the Little Mermaid already.

Here are pictures of our little girl enjoy the movie.
